Hey again!
God has been moving in such amazing ways over the first several weeks of fundraising. Within just a few weeks after starting fundraising, I reached 75% of my goal! He has assured me greatly that this is where He is leading me to go and providing the way for me to do so. I have been learning a lot about the blessing of support raising and my mindset toward it has changed substantially. This experience has already had a huge impact on my faith before even getting to Antigua. Before, I saw fundraising as an awkward, scary thing and doubted God’s ability to provide for me to go on this mission. I truly don’t have words for how much I have been blown away this month by God simply saying “Let Me prove you wrong!”. I’ve seen the blessings of God this month through His people’s eagerness to support me and their generosity in giving. It is a huge encouragement to me to see all the people closest to me giving, and those that were major parts of my story contributing and supporting me in this way. It makes it feel like they will be with me while I am there serving which is so sweet for me. I am quickly and steadily approaching my goal and can clearly see the Lord’s faithfulness throughout this journey. He needs me in Guatemala! Makayla (my best friend who is also coming to Antigua this summer) and I did our first fundraising event at our home church, Summit Church, and it was a huge success. Praise God! I am so thankful for Summit Church and all that they have done for us to go on mission this summer. Please be praying that the Lord will continue this great work in us and that He will provide for us this summer. But most importantly, to continue growing my confidence in my faith and His AMAZING love!
